ABOUT US
OUR STORY
Kilgour Wines is a boutique vineyard located in McAdams Lane on the northern coast of the Bellarine Peninsula. Kilgour is a family affair; owners Anne and Rod manage their 25 acre vineyard, supported by three of their sons also working in the wine industry. Alister is the eldest and the Winemaker behind the Kilgour label. Daniel assists in the vineyard alongside his brother William, who also has a strong passion for premium Australian made wines.
It all began with the first vines planted 1989. Anne quickly became a pioneer of the Geelong food and wine scene; winning many prestigious awards for her fruit-driven wines and establishing former iconic winery & restaurant in 1996 - Kilgour Estate (now known as Jack Rabbit). Today McAdams Lane boasts four separate wine businesses, all producing distinctive wines and various varieties.
